CC1352P7: Switching Between WISUN Image & BLE Image

Hi there,

As i came to know that, TI currently doesn't support the concurrent operation of WISUN & BLE. So it is required switching of the image/firmware.

So could you please provide some reference like at runtime how we can switch between two image? (let's say currently WiSUN RN is running and somehow it is not getting connected to BR then in that we want to switch it to BLE mode by switching the image). So if you could provide some reference like how to switch then it would be helpful.

Does it required an external flash for that? or with internal flash we can manage it , if image size is small?

Hi Bhautik,

If you do not use the CoAP enabled version of the Wi-SUN examples, you can probably fit two images (BLE simple_peripheral, ns_code) in the internal flash, and switch between those two using bim_dual_onchip, in dual-image mode:

If you want CoAP, you will then have to use bim_offchip, and store an image in the external flash.
