Hi,

how do I enable the system execution/RTOS-analyzer/execution graph? I'm using CCS12.5, a CC1311R3 (on a custom board) and the 7.10 SDK. The project is derived from the "empty" project from the resource explorer.

The UIA is activated under products:

How do I now enable the logging? I only found documentation for the old .cmd files and sdk versions etc.

Hi Max,

Unfortunately we no longer support Execution graph in TI RTOS (or other RTOSes).

If you post details about the issue you are seeing I can help you debug it.

Hi Marie,

ah ok. I'm not having a specific issue but would like to get an overview of my system. E.g. idle/running ratios, and a general who is doing what for about how long. The execution graph was nice for that. Are there any alternatives?

Hi Max,

If you have access to EnergyTrace++ (e.g. on a CC1312 LP), you can use it to see a lot of runtime information:

Hi Marie,

alright thanks, I will have a look. Do I read this correctly, that the ET++ is only available for CC13x2 devices but a basic ET should work on a CC1311?

Hi Max,

Energy trace are components on the development board aka LaunchPad. Since you're using CC1311R3 I'm not sure which LaunchPad you're using for development. You can check the ti.com tools page if your launchpad has energy trace. And in any case, you can use jumper wires to use EnergyTrace from one LaunchPad for a device mounted on a different LaunchPad or a custom board. This is explained in the guide I linked you.
