LAUNCHXL-CC1310: How to communicate with Labview

What do you mean with "communicate with LabView"? For instance, do you want to connect your LAUNCHXL-CC1310 to your PC by UART, and send arbitrary packets?
In which case, we have an example for the LOWPOWER-F2 (CC13x2) series called rfUARTBridge, that you can port to the CC13x0 series:

Hi, tanks, i'll try the example, althought i'm not familiar with c++ code.

My intention was to replicate the "continuous RX" graphic shown in Smart RF studio 7. I know i can export the code in .c and .h but i'm not able to replicate the packets used "CMD_PROP_RADIO_DIV_SETUP", "CMD_FS" and "CMD_RX_TEST".

i've tried to use the example but, as i said before, i wqas unable to get it to work because of my lack of experience in C++...

There is no document on how can create the packets? i've already used some eval board of TI and i found this tipe of document. Can you please make an exaple of any packets just to understand how to communicate? (for example i recreate the CMD_PROP_RADIO_DIV_SETUP as 3807 3400 0000 0000 0000 0000 0001 0321 0080 000F 5204 00A0 0008 013F 0000 0000 0393 8000 05, but i get no response)

Yes, in my application i want to measure the RSSI at certain frequency and export the data over time. 

I've tried to recreate the packets used in StudioRF in Labview but i get no response.

I've tried to send also to send an incorrect packet but still no response...

You will indeed get no response because SmartRF Studio uses JTAG to communicate with the device, not UART.

If you want to use UART, you have to use rfDiagnostics, with the AT command protocol and the CS command, but you have to manage to port it on CC1310 first.

ok, now i understand.

There is no .bin of rfDiagnostic? because, if i understand correctly, i've to flash the CC1310 (maybe whith SmartRFFlash Programmer?) with rfDiagnostic.bin, but i don't know how to create this .bin from the file .c you suggested

Hi Riccardo,

There is no .bin for the CC1310, as there is some porting involved.. If you could acquire a CC1312 Launchpad, that would probably make it easier for you, as you would not have to port the software.

9i've tried to open the ccs cloud but i can't find any binary to download, also i've only these 3 project

I've imported rfDiagnostic into CCS and i've built the .hex and with Uniflash (https://dev.ti.com/uniflash) i've flashed the eval board.

Now i've tried the communication indicated in the file ReadMe and it works! It works on Labview too
