Hello,

When VDDS is 1.8V, what is the maximum output power of the default (14dBm) PA at 900MHz? Is a particular configuration required to achieve max output power at this voltage?

Hi Joe,

In order to achieve 14 dBm, VDDS must be greater than 2.1 V.

If VDDS is at 1.8 V, then the typical output power would be 12 dBm.

I noticed that the conditions listed above that table in the datasheet indicated "VDDS = 3.0V unless otherwise noted." You are indicating that in non boost conditions on the Sub-1GHz PA, that max output power will be 12dBm across the entire VDDS range. Is that correct?

Looking at the Hardware Config guide, I see that VDDS does not impact the PA voltage output from the RF LDO. It either takes 1.68 or 1.95(boost).
