CC113L: The incident where it stops working has been reproduced.

Part Number: CC113L

Tool/software:

The incident where CC113L stops working has been reproduced.
In the static electricity tolerance test, it will stop functioning at level 2 (contact: 4kV, air: 4kV).

We replace CC113L with RXC101 and perform the same test, not stop will occur even at level 4 (contact: 8kV, air: 15kV).

Could you please provide me with any official materials regarding IEC61000,if you have?

  • As the CC113L datasheets show, the ESD performance on the RF pins are on the poor side. If you have a CC113L based system where a user could touch the antenna I would highly recommend adding system level ESD protection.

  • Hi,

As TheGhostOf states, system-level ESD protection is recommended here if the antenna is likely to be touched by the user.

The standards the CC113L is tested to comply with are listed on p1 of the data sheet, and Section 4.2 states the handling ratings.

    Regards,
