Thermocouple with CC430

Hello, I am part of a project team at the University of Florida.  We are trying to build a temperature sensor system to be used in a medium voltage switchgear.  I see that the CC430 SOC may be a good option due to its low power consumption.  Basically we will mount a sensor and transceiver on the busbar and have a receiver to collect the temperature data sent wirelessly.  My question is whether the CC430 will accommodate a thermocouple type sensor with a 4-20mA output.
