CC2520 + EZ430-RF2480

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: SIMPLICITI, CC2520, MSP430F5528, Z-STACK

Hi,

I've developed a board with the CC2520 transceiver and an MSP430F5528. I need to perform basic p2p communication back to a PC, so I intend to use the EZ430-RF2480 kit for the PC side (so I don't have to rig up a UART to USB converter). I was planning to use the SimpliciTI stack to simplify the CC2520 communications, however I'm not sure if this is compatible with the network processor on the RF2480 (the CCZACC06). Can anyone suggest which stack would be best to use?

<EDIT/>

Alternatively, can I use SimpliciTI with the CC2520, and Z-Stack with the EZ430-RF2480 kit?

</EDIT>

Do TIs various LPRF stacks have any affect on the physical layer communications, or do they just implement the communications between the transceiver and the micro?

Cheers,

T.
