CC2530EM: Debug

Dear sir,

In CC2530EM SCH, there are two connector, P1 and P2. What is the purpose of each?

I assume at least one connector for debug purpose. But for debug purpose, there is only two I/O pins needed, P2.1 & P2.2 and a reset_N is needed as well. None of P1&P2 is in such configuration.

Pls advise.

Hi Alex,

I mean both P1 & P2 are not dedicated for debug and programming. That is unusual.

Hello John,

Pin P2_1 is attached to the debug interface:

DEBUG_CLK (P2_2) and DEBUG_DATA (P2_1) are needed for debug.

Please indicate the specific pins you are discussing in the following picture:
