Tool/software:
I am designing in the CC1120 into a MURS radio band system operating at 154MHz. The design will use an external power amplifier that will allow for the 2W legal limit for TX power into the antenna.
The system will be part of a small wearable device, so the PCB size must be as small as practically possible. Given I am deviating from the 169MHz reference board design I need some help.
Do you all (TI Engineering) have optimum CC1120 RX and TX impedance values for 154MHz? I realize 169MHz is fairly close, and this is specified in the datasheet, but I'll still pose the question if they are available for 154MHz. If an S-Parameter file is available for the CC1120 that would be great.
Are their any design examples available that use an external power amplifier with a standard 50Ohm input/output impedance, and that show how the TX/RX switching is configured?
Thank you.
