EM-CC430F6137RF900 with SmartRF Studio 7.0

Hi,

 

I have to EM-CC430F6137RF900 boards with the MSP-FT430UIF, for which I am trying to connect to SmartRF Studio. The documentation says it supports this board,however, when I connect the board SmartRF does not recognizes it.

I have the impression that I have to program the boards first with some firmware in order to communicate with SmartRF so I can control the radio. Has anybody managed to connect this board with SmartRF?

    Ok, I manage to communicate but downgrading the firmware of the FET tool to v2.4.7 instead of the v3 recently deployed in CCS v5.1. I think TI needs to update all its tools to use the recent firmware versions.

    I am not sure how to work this out since I will have to program the devices using v3 and use SmartRF studio with version 2.4.7.
