LP-EM-CC1312PSIP: Support for frequencies 365.075MHz and 365.325MHz

Part Number: LP-EM-CC1312PSIP
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: LP-CC1311P3, , SYSCONFIG, CC1312PSIP

Tool/software:

Hi experts,

Q1: Does the LP-EM-CC1312PSIP or LP-CC1311P3 support the following?
Q2: Also, are there any devices or EVMs that support the following?
Q3: Could you please tell me how to set the following RF settings based on the sample code in CCS? It's okay if you can't use Sysconfig.

  • Frequency 365.075MHz and 365.325MHz
  • Modulation method 4-level FSK
  • Modulation speed 7200bps

Best regards,
O.H

  • Hi,

The CC1312PSIP will not support 365 MHz since it has integrated filters that support 860-928 MHz only.

CC1311x does support 365 MHz. This is an extended frequency range with a limited number of PHYs supported in this frequency range. In SmartRF studio, there is a narrowband PHY at 4800 bps, 2GFSK that is supported today for the frequency range 359-430 MHz. I would start with this PHY setting first, then change the modulation to 4FSK and then the data rate to 7200 bps.

Once you have found your radio settings in SmartRF studio then these can be ported to CCS.

There are no EVMs for sale for this frequency band with CC1311x so an 860-928 MHz board would need to be re-populated with a new BOM for 365 MHz.

Please let us know the opportunity behind this request so we can provide further assistance.

  • Hi RGW,

Thank you for your support, and sorry for late reply. I understood.

The customer is using CC13xx, but I don't know the details.
I will consult with the customer again if I receive any additional requests from them.

    Best regards,
    O.H
