CC2652R: advice for dmm

I just wanted to use dmm with ble and zigbee but ble role is (peripheral + observer ) in dmm user guide it's said that perpheral + zigbee (co-ordinator, router, end device) is suggested can't garuntee other. just wanted to know the usage of observe is fine or not or it's going to affect any of the zigbee communication

Hi Pavan,

I understand your concern given the DMM User's Guide Protocol Stack Limitations, however the BLE observer role is rather passive (the device scans for advertisements but cannot initiate connections) so it should be okay to add this role to an existing BLE peripheral + Zigbee DMM example as it should not greatly affect the radio time-sharing mechanism incorporated by DMM to manage both Zigbee and BLE protocols. You can reference the BLE5-Stack User's Guide and Bluetooth SLAs to better understand what is needed to add the observer role to an existing BLE peripheral example. Please let the E2E forum know if you encounter any difficulties with this endeavor.
