Tool/software:

i have the cc1312R1 launchpad, i would like to replace the existing RF components for ones that are suitable for 169MHz.

Is there a reference design/schematic available for that?

Hi,

Please refer to the following design for CC13xx and 169 MHz:

6708.CC1352REM-XS169-XS24_C1.zip

Note that we typically use Single-ended configuration for 169 MHz since this frequency band is normally used together with a high power FEM to produce 27-30 dBm.

looking at the circuit (pardon my ignorance), is separate Rx & Tx antennae the norm for 169MHz??

Hi Moshe,

These ports are usually combined into a single port via the FEM so normally just one antenna is used. The antenna at 169 MHz is large so not so practical having two large antennas onto same board.
