CC1311R3: Link between CC1125 and CC1311

Tool/software:

My customer wants to use CC1311 to communicate to a gateway running on CC1125. The PHY settings on CC1125 is as below:

Frequency: 869.2125 MHz
Modulation: GFSK NRZ
Deviation: ±3kHz
Channel:12.5kHz
Bit rate: 4800 bits/s

And the modulation detail is as below:

Would you please help confirm if CC1311 can support this PHY? Thanks.

What is the sync word, preamble, etc. of the CC1125 PHY?

Hi Zack,

The customer is using the transparent serial mode on CC1125. The preamble and sync word is not required in this mode. Is CC1311 abel to communicate with this transparent serial mode?

However, performance has not been extensively tested and there are limitations discussed here: https://dev.ti.com/tirex/explore/content/simplelink_cc13xx_cc26xx_sdk_8_30_01_01/docs/proprietary-rf/proprietary-rf-users-guide/rf-core/signal-routing.html#read-before-using-mce-gpo1

Only 2-GFSK modulation is supported (as mentioned in the link above).
