CC1311P3: TX Max Power Not Achieved on C1311P3 / CC1352P7

Dear TI Support Team,

we are working with following chipsets. 

  • CC1311P3

  • CC1352P7

I would like to know if it is possible to achieve +20 dBm output power at 433 MHz with either of these devices.

If it is feasible, could you kindly confirm:

  1. What hardware modifications (if any) are required to achieve this output power.

  2. What firmware/software configurations (e.g., SmartRF settings, CMD_PROP_RADIO_DIV_SETUP_PA parameters) are needed.

If +20 dBm output is not supported on these devices, please confirm so that I can plan accordingly.

    we don't have a reference design optimized for +20 dBm output power at 433 MHz. The reference designs at +20 dBm are optimized for 868/915 MHz or 2.4 GHz.

    At 433 MHz, the maximum output power you can achieve is +13 dBm on the CC1352P7. We don't have a reference design for 433 MHz on the CC1311P3, but you could use the bill of materials for 433 MHz from CC1352P7 with the CC1311P3.
