CC1352P7: Powering CC1352P7 evaluation board with Battery and Using USB communication at the same time

Could you kindly confirm the below things

I believe I need connect 3.3V at P4 and use the USB communication.

Also I need to install the below jumpers.

I connected 3.3V to the board from an external power supply and installed the Jumpers as specified.

What I observed is that even after turing off the 3.3V power supply,the board is detected in the Smart RF studio.

May I know is that expected.?

Hi,

Looks like you still have jumpers inserted on the power signals between the XDS section and the radio section which could explain why the board still works when turning off the 3.3 V power supply.

Remove these two jumpers:
