CC1131-Q1: Access to Demodulator Data

Hello,

I need to decode multi-protocol frames using the same modulation (FSK) and same frequency.

But preamble and synchro are not equal for all protocols.

I want to have an access to demodulator data directly from the demodulator. I will decode frame by software as I already done with RF modules.

How can I receive continuously on GDOx data from demodulator ?

Hi Thierry,

Asynchronous serial mode described in section 3.26 of the datasheet here (https://www.ti.com/lit/ds/symlink/cc1131-q1.pdf?ts=1765469413095&ref_url=https%253A%252F%252Fwww.ti.com%252Fproduct%252FCC1131-Q1). I believe this will enable you to get demodulated data out on a GDO pin.

Setting PKTCTRL0.PKT_FORMAT to 3 enables asynchronous serial mode, where data is driven out directly on a GDO pin.

Table 3-17. GDOx Signal Selection (x = 0, 1, or 2) describes that using <13 (0x0D) Serial data output. Used for asynchronous serial mode.> will enable that mode.
