CC1352P7: Using global command for setting high 20dBm power

Hello,

Is it possible to use global commands like CMD_RADIO_SETUP that uses 16-bit field txPower for setting high power 20dBm, maybe with activation of some flags?

Only the command RF_setTxPower that uses 32-bit parameter (type RF_TXPowerTable_Value) works now.

Hi Alex,

Yes, you can use CMD_RADIO_SETUP to enable the 20 dBm High Power PA. The txPower supports a special value, set txPower = 0xFFFF.

You must include a TX20_POWER_OVERRIDE entry in the pRegOverride to specify the actual power configuration.

Hi Daniel,

Thanks for so fast response. If the desired power is smaller e.g. 18dBm, should be still used the .txPower = 0xFFFF and different the pOverridesTx20[] ?

Yes, you are right. You can get the override values from SmartRF Studio's Code Export. For example, this is for 17 dBm
