CC1352P7: Not able to find the RPC firmware for the thread protocol

Hello Community,

I am planning to use LP-CC1352P7-1 development kit to test the Thread Boarder Router feature with my Linux (Ubuntu 22.04) as host system and CC1352P7 kit as Radio.
I am not able to find the example project (rpv-br) in simplelink_cc13xx_cc26xx_sdk_8_32_00_07 sdk.
Can anyone help to locate the example project for the same?

Hi Arthur,

Thanks for the project reference.
I am able to build and flash the generated binaries using CC Studio IDE on my Development Board.

I tested the ot-cli-radio.out using the /dev/ttyACM0 port.
Now, I want to test ot-rcp.out using My Linux (Ubuntu 22.04) as Host CPU.
Can you please help to provide any document/readme for the same?

Thanks for the sharing the link this is very useful.
I found from the link that TI has tested the Boarder Router example using BeagleBone Black hardware to run the Host application.
I would like to check if we can use Linux machine (Ubuntu 22.04) directly or not? If yes, then can you help with some documentation to port the script from BeagleBone Black to Native Linux first and then we would like to use our Host Device.

If you skip the instructions to the following chapter: https://dev.ti.com/tirex/explore/content/cc13xx_cc26xx_simplelink_academy_8_31_01_00/_build_cc13xx_cc26xx_simplelink_academy_8_31_01_00/source/thread/thread_01_border_router/thread_01_border_router.html#clone-the-border-router-repository

You can apply thoses to your Linux machine, as they are generic.

HI Arthur,

I tried running below commands as per the shared readme file link.

git clone https://github.com/openthread/ot-br-posix.git
cd ot-br-posix
git checkout 84b7b2fda3005a6b8eb83262884ecf78d2a82b21
script bootstrap.log -c 'bash ./script/bootstrap'
script script.log -c 'bash ./script.sh'
script setup.log -c 'bash INFRA_IF_NAME=wlo1 ./script/setup'

I am facing issue with bootstrap, script.sh and setup scripts.
I would like to know if this is tested with Linux as Host or not. Or it is only tested with BeagleBone Black as Host.
Also, would be great to understand the changes to test with different processor as Host.

I tried to run the commands on main branch of ot-br-posix repo without checking out to 84b7b2fda3005a6b8eb83262884ecf78d2a82b21 commit and I am able to compile the ot-br for Native linux and open the web page.
However, I am getting FORM operation is failed error when I try to Form thread network using default configurations for the same.
Can you help to debug the issue?

There is progress! Do you have more logs related to the border router? I am thinking it may be a permission issue.

I am able to Form network successfully after changing the baudrate in OTBR_AGENT_OPTS.

I am able to test the Thread Network Formation using CC1352P7 developement board using /dev/ttyACM0 uart port.

However, when I remove the UART RX/TX jumpers (to remove the debugger UART connections) and use USB to UART connector (/dev/ttyUSB0) tfor UART communication then I am getting below error in the otbr-agent.
