question regarding programming with ez430-rf2500 development kit GUI

Hi, i had a eZ430-RF2500 development kit with me. i would like to upgrade the current demo GUI. i would like to include the RSSI value in the circle thing that display the End device temperture, voltage ect.. currently it show the RSSI ( signal strength in the console. ) i have problems finding where to put that value into circle of the GUI. is the programm found in the firm ware of the device or in the GUI? please reply and guide me as soon as possible. as i am doing it as my final year project in singapore.

No need to double post. As i answered there, no you do not need to update the firmware in the device itself as it already sends the voltage, temperature and RSSI as a text string over the COM port to the PC. This means you need to look into the GUI and how to change QT. As for QT there are plenty of resources on this out on the web which should be able to give you a hint on how to compile this and how to program in QT.
