How to read the IEEE address from CC2430?

I am using CC2430 for my project. I have used Chipcon SmartRF04 IEEE Address Programmer to write the IEEE address for the SoCs.

But i am not sure how to read the address in the software? Is there any particular function that i can call and read the address?

I am using TI-MAC 1.2.1

Anyone knows about how to read the IEEE address from the CC2430 chip?? Or the address only can be read using the IEEE Address Programmer??

Try adding the following lines to your code:

#include "saddr.h"

uint8 status

sAddrExt_t ieeeAddr;

status = MAC_MlmeGetReq(MAC_EXTENDED_ADDRESS, &ieeeAddr);

if (status == MAC_SUCCESS)

{

/* Put your code here to use the returned IEEE address */

}

It will work better if you add a semi-colon to the line:

uint8 status;
