Whats correct? A low or a high LQI value is better?

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: CC2500, CC2530

Hello,

in my mind there is a difference between the datasheet of the CC1110 SoC and in this forum. In the datasheet is said that a high LQI value indicates a better link quality (chapter 13.10.8) and in this forum is said that a low LQI value indicates a better link ( http://e2e.ti.com/support/low_power_rf/w/design_notes/calculation-and-usage-of-lqi-and-rssi.aspx ).

Whats the correct one of these two?

Thanks for help.
