I have been using that one, but it is outdated and doesn't include details of the delays necessary between writing and reading from the buffers, see post from RF4ALL here:

i am using a simple MRFI Link using RS 232 on the CC1110...the example included in swru222b for CC1110 is a great ack based handshake example...i used it to establish the UART bridge...sent data from one PC to another seamlessly....but ever since i have added the AES unit functionality in my software...the performance has been affected severely...dont know what is happening...i am stunned..please help....
