Design Files for CC1200

Hi,

Is there any Orcad Design for CC1200 or even CC1100. It will save me the hassle to convert the pdf to schematic and then process to make a pcb. I skimmed TIs web but could not find one.

I will appreciate any help, that will same my time.

We only have the files in the format they are uploaded on the web. But all PCB tool vendors have translater programs that can convert from one format to another.

The CC1200 design on our web is in Cadence Allegro format. According to the Cadence webpage the Allegro format and Orcad format is inter changeable. I don't have any URL but if you do a internet search you should be able to find what you are looking for.

Hi,

Thanks for the help. The design file available is swrr121.zip for 830Mhz range. This zip file contains art work in the gerber file format. The schematic is in pdf format.

I am well versed with orcad and cadence both. Art files are independent files, sort of plot files and they cannot be connected back to any CAD Tool except manually creating the whole work.

I could do that too but antenna patterns and pcb patterns will take time to built.

Thanks a lot, I have downloaded the files. The brd file is probably in Allegro version higher than 16.3. Also, files that link schematic with the board are not there in the zip. But all those can be created. I will use free/limited use version of Cadence Allegro 16.6, covert the brd file to 16.3 format. Than create foot print libraries and link the brd file with the schematic.

I think after doing all this effort, I should post the finalized complete design in TIs files area.

Hi,

Just a follow up on the above. Based on Allegro Files that TI provided above, I cleaned and connected the design files Schematic to PCB. Modified the design, prepared art work and have sent for prototyping to my client.
