Hi,

We are moving from cc430 to cc1120 device and we have an working prototype based on the original simpliciti stack.

Few questions:

1. Does the cc1120 support simpliciti( I assume using cc1120DK)?

2. If not are there some guidelines to perform this porting?

It would depend on what processor you are using with the cc1120. The cc1120 is only a transceiver and needs a separate processor in order to run SimpliciTI. The 1120DK has TrxEB boards that have a MSP430 processor on it that you could run SimpliciTI on. I don't think there is a BSP in SimpliciTI for the TrxEB yet, so you have to make your own BSP.

Hi,

Is there a special reason why the Beta code for the cc1120 is targeted for IAR compiler and not the Code Composer?

I mean, we are now trying to port the code to CCS, since it is a much better compiler and environment.

I would assume that IAR was the preferred tool for the engineer that did the beta version. Unfortunately we have limited bandwidth and support of two different compilers is not always possible.
