I have set up a star topology with a number of end devices and one access point. The end devices will send periodically (after sleeping for some time) sensor data to the access point. My concern is that will there be packet collision if the End devices happen to send their data to the access point all at the same time? is there any solution already implemented for this kind of situation? I read on some discussions that CCA can solve the medium contention, but I could not find more on how the CCA algorithm works and How I can configure (enable) it.
