About CC1125 Tx symbol ramp time and ASK/OOK shape length

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: CC1125Hi Friends, About CC1125 Tx Register "PA_CFG1.RAMP_SHAPE", could someone tell me what "symbol ramp time" and "ASK/OOK shape length" mean? And what's the difference between them? TKS! Best, Tarker
  • Sorry about the delay.

Symbol ramp time: For OOK extra "symbol(s)" are added before the start of the packet to ramp from off state to the programmed output power. "Symbol ramp time" is the length of the extra "symbol" added.

ASK/ OOK shape length: This is the portion of a symbol used to ramp up to a logic '1'. Example: If this is set to 1/4, 1/4 of the symbol length is used to ramp up, then 3/4 of the time sending max power and then 1/4 of the time ramping down.
