[Su007]: Unable to open the command file

check whether you can find the .dat file at:

"C:\Texas Instruments\SimpliciTI-IAR-1.2.0\Components\bsp\boards\sfrccxx10\source\apps\smpl_config.dat"

if not, change to the correct .dat file path

The file path is correct, however I am still getting the same error which is quite baffling. 

The path is, C:\Texas Instruments\SimpliciTI-IAR-1.2.0\Components\bsp\boards\sfrccxx10\apps

However the error keeps saying this is the path:

"C:\Texas Instruments\SimpliciTI-IAR-1.2.0\Components\bsp\boards\sfrccxx10\ide\srfccxx10_cc2510\iar\..\..\..\source\apps\smpl_config.dat

Could there be any explanation for this? 

Also when I try and use the path that they say cannot open the command file, the same error still persists.

The solution to this problem was that the project had not been 'cleaned' and the previous files were still in the project. I have now the problem where when I go to build the project, nothing is happening it gets to this point:

Then sits at this point for as long as you leave it, IAR Workbench will also seem to stop responding also when the code is being built. 

The vital question is, if this is a problem with the debugger settings or any other settings in IAR Workbench, or unfortunately this is due to me requiring a new laptop. 

I think the problem may be caused by the output file as when I try to open it, I get this here message:

Then when I also try and debug the code without downloading, this message appears:

What is the problem with the output file and also why will the code not debug for?

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

which software package are you working with actually? Can you share the link where you downloaded it?

I am working with IAR Embedded Workbench IDE, which I installed via a CD that was supplied with the development kit (CC2510DK-MINI) which I purchased from TI.

could you try instead just to use the SimpliciTI code instead the one from the CD delivered with the DK?
