Regarding FCC part 15.247 30Dbm power output, are there code/app examples for a 902-928MHz FHSS transceiver/modem (preferred) or single channel (second choice) with UART and or SPI data I/O throughput that work with or are easily ported to the CC1120DK? If not something close?

    I suggest using SimpliciTI, we have release a beta version with support for cc1120 and it includes frequency hopping.

    TA,

    I downloaded and analysed SimpliciTI and though it seems like a nice FHSS network that could probably be made to be part 15 compliant with some work, the network topology and sync methods do not match the goals of my project closely enough to use as a template. However you did answer my question.
