CC1120 SPI read - synchronization issue similar to CC1101?

Hi,

does the CC1120 suffer from the same "SPI Read Synchronization Issue" as described in the CC1102 errata note? Do i have to consider anything wenn e.g. polling NUM_RXBYTES or NUM_TXBYTES or the chip's status byte?

CC112x/CC120x does not have the SPI read synchronization issue as CC1101/CC1100

Hi Sverre,

but the lower 4 bits of the status byte (RX / TX FIFO number of bytes) are affected, or not? If this the the case, one should not rely on them when e.g. feeding bytes to the TX FIFO...

The 4 LSB in the chip status bytes are reserved and should not be used.
