CC1101 - receiving message OOK

Hi to all,

I'm using the CC1101 and I need to receive in OOK modulation, 10kB, 433.92MHz, not manchester.

can I use the "State Machine" built in the chip to translate the bits,

or I need to have the MCU reading the GDO0 and probably suffering errors made by me.

You may use the build in state machine. I would recommend looking at SmartRF Studio and the predefined settings we have for OOK. You may also use Studio to send/ receive packets to verify that it works with your frequency, datarate etc before you start developing your firmware.

Those are my setting in the Studio,

I can send packets, using the studio.

my question is if I can use the SPI interface, (e.g. TX FIFO to sends the messages and RX FIFO to receive), wehn using regular OOK.

and if yes, is there a driver that can help me, or design note.

Yes, you can use the FIFO for Tx/ Rx, just use your settings in the code examples.
