Hi,

If I understand correctly, to use OOK with CC1101 / C1200 I need to set PATABLE entry 0 to 0x00. Is this correct? What is the power consumption in this case (for 433Mhz)? I saw in one of the tables (swra151a.pdf) that 0x00 consumes ~11mA. Is this the case?

You are correct

For OOK modulation PATABLE entry 0 corresponds to transmitting a logic 0.

The power consumption with PATABLE[0] = 0x0 is 11.3 mA. See DN013 (www.ti.com/lit/swra151), page 9.

I thought that in OOK, 0 consumes less power than 1 (or at least much less power than 1). Any way to reduce power while transmitting 0 with OOK?

'0' (PATABLE[0] = 0x0) consumes 11.3 mA.

If '1 is transmitted using +10 dBm then the current consumption is 29.1 mA when PATBLE entry is 0xC0.

Minimum current when transmitting '0' is 11.3 mA.
