I have soldered two custom boards with the CC1000 transceiver. The PCBs are the same and the components as well (not necessarily identical parts, though). Still, one board has very poor performance and one can see in particular that the right side band is actually jumping up and down a few kilohertz.
I suspected the VCO inductor as problem, and switched it between the boards. But still same result. Any ideas where the error could be?
