Thanks for the link budget calculation. Will the 2 ray model will work for the Urban use case ?, should Hata model be a better representation for an urban/suburban mesh network ?.


Also do you have any plans to add CC1200+CC1190 ?

    Both models calculate with specific antenna heights for the Tx and Rx unit so this is one major parameter that has to be taken into account. Friis does not take into account the antenna heights so both the 2-ray model and Okumura-Hata model will work.

    Will add the CC1200 CC1190 option as well.
