In the Stand-alone mode, what is the modulation?
RFSudio has options for 4-GFSK, 2-GFSK, 2-FSK....
In Stand-alone mode, I can't find documentation to tell me what is going on when I take them out for range testing.

Hi,
CC1200 EM has no code (program) in it. It is just a transceiver board. So, you need to use SmartRFStudio along with TRxEb board and set the desired data rate, modulation, deviation, Tx power level etc from the SmartRFStudio based omn your requirement.
You may start with one of our Test configs mentioned in the Typical Settings (Top Portion) of Device control panel (double click on the device in SS and it opens the 2nd window) and double click on one of the settings and it populates all the RF parameters. You need to do the same on both Transmit and recive boards.
If you bought the CC1200 development kit then it comes with PER test. In easy mode, it sets 1.2KBPS, 2-FSK, 4KHz Dev,
The following is the link to the PER test user guide.

Hi Chuck,
Did PM answer your question? (The answer being that if you're using the PER test out-of-box software, the modulation mode programmed on the transceiver is 2-FSK)
If not, could you go into your use-case a little more so we can understand your question better? The more details the better!
Best regards,
Lina
