How to attach a codec to CC1200DK

I am not aware of any "out of the box" demonstration solutions that uses a CC1200 to transfer digital wireless audio data. I suggest starting with the standard PER software that ships on the development kits and then start hooking up your audio codecs.

You can not hook a codec up directly to the 1200. You would have to hook a codec up to the MSP430 on the TRXEB board. Then transfer the codec values to the 1200 with the msp430. You would then receive the data on the other board, and send it to the codec on the 1200.

If your goal is to send wireless audio, have you lookd at our wireless audio parts that we call purepath audio?

Yes, I've already looked at the purepath audio. My impression is that these chips are better suited for sending audio (like stereo-quality) in one direction.

I'm interested in speech signals (mono - 8 or 16 KHz) in both directions (almost) simultaneously. My impression is that generally such codecs have an I2S interface but I could not find an equivalent interface on MSP430. So I would like to know which is a suitable codec that can be connected to MSP430 and which interface I can use for connecting it.
