CC1200 and TX 200 to 255 byte packets

I have not seen a proper explanation to transfer 200 byte packets in the CC1200 User Guide. It says this is possible. And Smart RF Device Control Panel has  an options to go up to 254 bytes in fixed or variable mode. Trying this keeps resulting in error messages by Smart RF. Sounds like the program is not setup to handle this.

Does anyone know how this is handled? Is it the same way as handling infinite packet length transfers?

    We tested this some time ago and it works for the 802.15.4G modes, we tested all the way up to 2047 byte packets. What you have to do is setup an interrupt service routine that can empty or fill the fifo on the fly and they configure the CC1200 to provide an indicator when the FIFO is approaching empty.
