CC1200 communication with CC1101, RSSI value is not correct with CC1200 side

Hi all,

We follow below seting for CC1200 communication with CC1101

e2e.ti.com/.../327972

By customer test is workable, but RSSI read ou always not correct with CC1200 side.

The CC1200 side RSSI readout part is refernce the PER_TEST from here http://www.ti.com/lit/zip/swrc219

The CC1200 and CC1200 read RSSI is no problem.

What need to attention on CC1200 RSSI read part with CC1101?

Please provide a table/ graph of the RSSI you get as function of the input power. It's not possible for me to know what the issue could be when I don't know what you define as "not correct".

We read the RSSI from RSSI1 register, and get the value always in -105 ~ -115 dbm.
Even increase distance between 2 devices and get fixed RSSI.

- How is the RSSI as function of signal frequency?
- Do you see a variation of the RSSI when you turn on/ off the sender?
- What type of hardware do you measure on? Is this your own developed hardware and if so do you know if the hardware works (have you tested output power)
