hi,

1. the CC110L’s Saturation is -14dBm described in datasheet, and actually measure -14dBm by spectrum, they still want to know the tolerance of this value, they think this -14dbm is a typical value, they want to know the max and min value, is it possible to get?

2. CC110L's max TX power is 12dbm, when setting 12dbm in smartRF Studio 7, but actually only got 8dbm at antenna end measured by specturm . (the HW is CC11XLDK-868-915, setting base frequency to 868MHz), does the balun and matching circuit attenuate the signal so much? or how is the best way to measure the TX power?

3.Do you have the schematic of CC11XLEMK-433 & CC11XLDK-868-915? I can’t found in TI website.

1) Do not have the tolerance in front of me, but +/-6 dB is probably a fair guess. Note that you can improve the saturation level by using the FIFOTHR.CLOSE_IN_RX setting. In your application you can read RSSI and if this is above a certain threshold, you can set the attenuation to 18 dB (say)

2) Make sure they measure output power with an unmodulated carrier. If you do use a modulated signal you need to set the spectrum RBW to 1-3 MHz.

1. As per the Design Note SWRA147B, Minimunm Saturation Level is -15 dBm and Maximum is +3 dBm. Please refer to SWRA147. The following is the link.

2. Did you calibrate your cables? Are you measuring the power in CW-Unmodulated mode? Calibrate the cables amd measure the power in CW mode by using Spectrum Analyzer or Power meter. Are you measuring on our EV board? Please refer to Design Note SWRA168A. The following is the link.
