I think it would be very useful to predict the actual BER performances under different operating conditions (apart from the examples reported in the datasheet), and so here I am with some questions about the FSK/GFSK receiver of the CC112x devices.
- Is the data demodulation a coherent one?
- What about calculating the RX sensitivity based on device-specific Eb/No curves (considering different deviation indexes), and using the Noise Figure typical of each band?
- How much sensitivity improvement can we expect using the Viterbi detection algorithm with 2-GFSK and 4-GFSK?
- By the way, is there a specific deviation index prescribed when using Viterbi decoding?
