Optimal sensitivity settings for CC1121 at 433.92MHz @1200BPS using OOK

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: CC1121

For maximum sensitivity and range, what are the optimal settings for the CC1121 under the following conditions:

---433.92MHz

---1200BPS

---10Byte Packet Length

---Manchester Encoding

---OOK Modulation

Has anyone performed real-world range testing to ascertain the best settings?

  • Use SmartRF Studio to generate the settings. Select the "4.8 kbps, OOK" typical setting. Change RF frequency to 433.92 MHz, change RX filter BW to 41.67 kHz (the minimum for this part), change data rate to 1.2 kbps, enable Manchester encoding.

We have not tested range with these system parameters.
