CC1110 and CC1111 calculate RSSI Offset

Hello!

 In DN505 on page 3 i see Table 1 RSSI offset calculate for standart Data Rate.

 In DN505 on page 4 the say "When using data rates other than the ones in Table 1 it is possible to find the RSSI offset by applying a known input power and then read out the RSSI value."

 What algorithm detailed calculation RSSI offset for other data rate?

    The RSSI offset doesn't change much as a function of datarate, see table 68 in the UserGuide.

    If you want to check you would need a signal generator able to send packets. In most cases you can also send a CW, the offset is not given by the datarate but from frontend settings (gain, bandwidth). In both cases set up the chip with the wanted RF parameters and use either packet or continuous Rx. Adjust the SG to send something in 1 (or 5) dB steps in signal strength and check how the resulting curve deviates from the input power used. The delta between these curves is the offset.
