Hi,

How does CC110L IC manage collision condition in a network?

Suppose if we have 3 nodes N1,N2,N3 in a network.If N1 and N2 is transmitting to N3 at the same time how will be the collision managed?

Basically you need to implement LBT/ CCA in your network to avoid two nodes sending at the same time.

If you have a collision the packets from N1 and N2 will not be possible to receive and the packets will be lost. How this will be managed is down to how the protocol is written. (ack, retransmit etc)

LBT: Listen Before Talk
CCA: Clear Channel Assessment

These are not directly supported on CC110L (but is at CC1101) but you can do it on the CC110L by reading the RSSI before you start transmitting to check for energy on the air.

I have read about CCA in the CC110L datasheet..............Is it not implementable in the same?

Sorry, typo on my part, LBT is not supported, CCA is supported. When I wrote my previous mail my intent was to just refer to LBT but by accident included both.
