CC1310: which programmer should i acquire?

(new to ti chips but very impressive)

Well, without using cc1310 ti development boards, which kind of programmer should i acquire in order to program a cc1310 chip in a home-made breakout board?

I know that i have to use SmartRF Flash Programmer 2 because cc1310 embedds an ARM uController, however, i cant find info about the (USB) programmer.

If you want to play with the CC1310 I would recommend you buy a CC1310 Launchpad. On this board you also have a XDS110 which you can use to program/ debug your own PCB later vias USB.

Why do you want to use a breakout board compared to a launchpad?

But if "SimpleLink Sub-1 GHz wireless microcontroller (MCU) LaunchPad development kit board" just brings the board and a usb cable where is the programmer? Is the programmer embedded in the board? Can this board program a breakout board? Well, it seems that there is no single programmer hardware right?

Yes, XDS110 (programmer) is embedded on CC1310 LaunchPad.

The board consists of two parts:
- XDS110
- CC1310 with all IOs available on pins.

The XDS110 can be used to program/ debug either the CC1310 on the board or an external target.

You can buy xds200 (www.ti.com/.../TMDSEMU200-U) standalone but the launchpad is less expensive that's why I suggested this.

Can I use the MSP430 LaunchPad Value Line Development kit in the picture to load program into CC1310?

No, Programmer of MSP430 LaunchPad can not be used to program CC1310.
