Dear Sir/Madam

We are in the prototype production phase for our 433 MHz wireless sensor product. We are going for  prototype production with little modification of the PCB Layout.

We are planning to go on a large scale once the performance of the products meets the specifications.

Can you please share your suggestions for the RF Layout part of the PCB? The schematics and gerber files are attached with this email.

We have tested the wireless communication over 433MHz using TI example code and found to have a range of more than 56 meters line of site on our first prototype hardwares.

Q1> TI has claimed much more range than 56 meters for the line of site communication over 433 MHz. But in my case when I use Power adapter at the transmission side and battery AAx2 at the receiver side, I get a range of little more than 56 meters line of site.

-> When I power both transmitter and receiver with AAx2 battery the range comes down to 15 meters for 48kbps and 34 meters for 1.2kbps.

-> The range is quite small compared to what is claimed. What are the options to increase RF range? I think there is a Antenna matching issues.

Q2> I have kept Pi filter space between JT Balun and chip antenna. Can you please help me in the Antenna matching?

 Awaiting for your valubale feedback.

Thanks in advance.

Pradhan.
