Under windows 7, I encounter many cases where the two serial ports of a connected cc1310 launchpad are visible in the Device Manager, but programs that try to connect to the serial port fail. This happens with more than one program (e.g., both my own custom code in Java and a terminal utility called putty). The launchpad itself seems fine and if I reboot the laptop I can connect to the serial port again. But after a while the same issue returns.
Seems like a driver problem. Any idea why this happens or how to fix this without rebooting?
