CC1310 Minimum Required Circuit for Radio Use

Is there a way to connect two antennas, one to RF_P and one to RF_N? In this http://imgur.com/MEkiSrD link there is a schematic where that is the case. I know for a fact that this schematic works because it was tested by researchers working on the KickSat project (https://github.com/kicksat/sprite). Why does this work and will it work with the CC1310?

On CC1101/ CC430 this could work but only for very low output powers to be able to comply with regulations. I did a test at one point using 2 external components on CC1101. An effective PA will generate high 2. and 3. harmonics that has to be filtered out. Also to get optimal output power the PA has to see a given impedance.

It could be that a similar configuration could work on CC1310 bt if it works you will only be able to use very low output powers.

Using the IPCs from Johanson/ Murata will give much better performance adding just a few square mm of space.

I would recommend you to use some external components to get good PA performance.

It's a bit different. I want to connect RF_N and RF_P separetaly to the two wires that compose a V dipole antenna. I want to make it have 50 ohm impedance so I don't need external circuitry. Will this work?

Sorry, forgot the frequency in question when I wrote my answer. The IPCs are only for 868/ 915 MHz.

Say I did want to use one of those IPCs at 868MHz. From schematics online, the IPC was one antenna output, but I want to use a V dipole which requires two wires. I need to use a V dipole because of its 0 dBi gain and the ability for it to be folded. How can I use a dipole with an IPC that has only one output?
