Hi team,

We are using the CC1125 in our design. Do we have any instructions on how to modify the CC1125DK to work at 450MHz?

If not, is there another development kit that we can use instead?

Akash,

You can refer to the CC1120 EM reference design for 420-470 MHz (www.ti.com/.../cc1120em-420-470-rd). Replace the components in the RF path (PA, TRX, LNA_P, and LNA_N) on the CC1125 EM using those listed in the reference design.

Hi Skyler,

Thanks for pointing that out for me. Can you review the differences between the CC1120 and the CC1125? It looks like the CC1125 is higher performance, any reason other than price, would one want to use the CC1120?

CC1125 is a super set of CC1120.

Main differences:
- CC1125 can use lower RX bandwidths than CC1120
- CC1125 supports both 32 MHz and 40 MHz crystal, CC1120 only 32 MHz.
- Performance.

If they should use CC1120 or CC1125 depends on their spec requirements.
