In the reference design TIDA-00484 (humidity and temperature sensor node), the long battery life is achieved through the system timer (TPL5111), which is hardwired (couple resistors) to fixed time interval. We would like to have adjustable timer for our design through software. It seems as if the only way to do it is to- bypass the TPL5111, and use the system clock in the MCU.
Is there any way to estimate the battery life for such implementation? For simplicity and calculation purpose, let's assume the time interval to be 30sec, 1min, and 10min.
