Hi all,
I understand from the Processor-Wiki http://processors.wiki.ti.com/index.php/Sigfox_CC1310_SDK_Demo_Users_Guide that the Sigfox RX capability will be added in future (firmware still in development)
while in forum-answer https://e2e.ti.com/support/wireless_connectivity/proprietary_sub_1_ghz_simpliciti/f/156/p/524442/2008944 user TA12012 writes "We have shown that CC1310 can transmit a SIGFOX compliant TX message, but it cannot become compliant with SIGFOX RX".
So what's the most recent status? Will RX capability be added by software update, by silicon update or not at all?
Edit: sorry, it seems my post was destroyed. Fixed it.
Hello Julian,
The minimum Rx bandwidth on CC1310 is not small enough to support narrow BW requirements for Sigfox Rx solution. A software update cannot fixing this on the current silicon. The next generation silicon is designed to support this requirement. We will have to wait till it releases and test before we can claim support of Rx on CC1310.
Regards,
Prashanth
As it has not yet been scheduled, I am not sure about the dates for Rx support on new Silicon.
